7 BRIDGES WALK 'CREATE A TEAM OF 7' COMPETITION

Create a team of 7 and start fundraising* by 22nd September to go into the draw to win a luxury picnic experience by Pony and Wolf Bespoke Pop-up Picnics.

*TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Instructions on how to enter the Cancer Council NSW 7 Bridges Walk Create a Team of 7 Competition (the Competition) form part of these conditions. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions.
  2. The promoter of this Competition is Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo NSW 2011 (the Promoter).
  3. The Competition commences at 12:00am AEST on Monday 29th July 2019 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on Sunday 22nd September 2019 (the Promotion Period).
  4. To be eligible to enter the Competition, seven or more individuals  must form a team (the Team), to participate in the 7 Bridges Walk 2019 event (the Event) and:
    • Each individual must register and purchase a ticket to the Event;
    • Each individual must create an individual online fundraising page which is linked to the Team online fundraising page; and
    • The Team must start fundraising using their individual or team fundraising pages before the Promotion Period ends.

      Any teams comprising of less than seven are not eligible to enter the Competition. Teams of more than seven individuals are eligible but the prize only caters for 7 individuals.

  5. Entry is automatic. Only one entry is permitted per Team.
  6. The Competition is open to Australian residents only. Entrants under the age of 18 need their parent or guardian’s permission to enter. Employees of Cancer Council Australia and of its members are ineligible to enter.
  7. This is a game of chance with no separate fee payable for entry. The winning entry will be determined by a random draw from the pool of Teams who have met the eligibility criteria set out above.
  8. The draw will be conducted at the Promoter’s head office at 5.00pm AEST on Monday 23rd September 2019. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the draw result.
  9. The prize is an on-the-day picnic experience for 7 people for the winning Team to enjoy during the Event at an Event Village of their choice (valued at $700).
  10. If there are unforeseen circumstances (such as adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen difficulties), the Promoter reserves the right to make changes, amend, cancel or reschedule the prize.
  11. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are not included. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. All prize values are the recommended retail price including GST (where applicable). The prize is not redeemable for cash. If the prize or an element of the prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu.
  12. The winning Team’s team captain will be notified via e-mail or phone from 9:00am AEST Friday 27th September 2019 and must provide their preferred Event Village for the picnic to be located and approximate picnic start time.
  13. In the event that the winner does not provide a preferred Event Village for the picnic to be located and approximate picnic start time within 10 days of the draw, the prize will be forfeited by the winner.
  14. If the prize is not claimed, in accordance with the conditions outlined above, a second draw will be held at 12.00pm AEST on Monday 7th October 2019 at the Promoter’s head office to re-draw the prize. The winner of the redraw will be notified via email or phone and must provide their preferred Event Village for the picnic to be located and approximate picnic start time. 
  15. Each team member of the winning team consents to the Promoter using their name, social media handle, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome), promoting the Event and any other marketing purposes. 
  16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with participation in this Competition or accepting or utilising a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  17. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  18. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this Competition and for other marketing purposes, including for direct marketing activity. By entering the Competition, unless otherwise advised, you also agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to you. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to other companies associated with this Competition, and to other members of Cancer Council Australia. If you do not provide your personal information, the Promoter will not be able to enter you into this Competition.
