Uploading your best 7 Bridges Walk Photo with at least 1 person & 1 bridge to Facebook or Instagram. Photos must contain at least 1 person and 1 bridge, and ideally with a ‘splash of yellow’.

Tagging 7 Bridges Walk, and the 3 friends you want to win the tickets with.

The best picture will win 4 free tickets to 7 Bridges Walk 2019, at the starting location of your choice! Entries close on 22nd July 2019.

TERMS & CONDITIONS 

  1. Instructions on how to enter the Seven Bridges Walk Photo Competition (the Competition) form part of these conditions. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions. 
  1. The promoter of this Competition is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011, (02) 9334 1900 (the Promoter). 
  1. The Competition commences at 12:00am Monday 8 July 2019 (AEST) and concludes at 11:59pm Monday 22 July 2019 (AEST) (the Promotion Period). 
  1. To enter the Competition, an individual (Entrant) must:
    1. during the Promotion Period, upload a photograph taken at a previous 7 Bridges Walk (7BW) event to Facebook or Instagram;
    2. ensure at least one person and one of the ‘seven bridges’ (Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, Anzac Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tarban Creek Bridge or Fig Tree Bridge), are both visible in the photograph. Ideally something yellow will also be visible, however this is not a requirement;
    3. tag the Promoter in the photograph using the tag ‘@7BridgesWalk’ on Facebook or ‘@7bridgeswalk’ on Instagram;
    4. tag in the post three (3) friends they would like to complete the 7BW with; and
    5. have the consent of any subjects identifiable from the photographs entered into this Competition (including parental consent if the subject is under the age of 16).

 Entry is automatic. Multiple entries are allowed, as long as each entry is for a different photograph. 

  1. The Entrant’s Instagram account must be public and must not be set to private to be eligible. The Entrant’s post on Facebook must be set to public to be eligible, however their profile may be private. Uploaded photographs must be submitted in accordance with Instagram’s and Facebook’s requirements. 
  1. The competition is open to Australian residents only. Entrants must be at least 16 years of age. Entrants under the age of 18, need their parent or guardian’s permission to enter. Employees of Cancer Council Australia and of its members are ineligible to enter. 
  1. The prize consists of four (4) tickets to the 7 Bridges Walk on 27 October 2019 in Sydney, NSW Australia, for the winner and three friends (valued at $70AUD per ticket – total prize value is $280AUD). 
  1. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize, including travel and accommodation costs, are not included. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. All prize values are the recommended retail price including GST (where applicable). The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not redeemable for cash. If a prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu. 
  1. This is a game of skill. Representatives of the Promoter will judge the entries and decide on the winner of the Competition. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  1. The judging will take place at the Promoter’s head office, 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo NSW at or before 5.00pm on 25 July 2019 (AEST). 
  1. The prize will be awarded to the Entrant who, in our opinion, submits the best entry in the Competition during the Promotion Period. The judges may select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry, ineligible entrant or forfeited winner. 
  1. The winner will be announced publicly on the Promoter’s Facebook and Instagram pages and notified individually via Facebook or Instagram direct message on 25 July 2019 on or by 6.00pm (AEST). The winner must provide their full name, preferred 7BW starting location and email address for the prize to be sent to. The winner acknowledges that, in order to receive the message from the Promoter, they must accept the Promoter’s direct message request on Facebook or Instagram. 
  1. Prizes will be emailed within fourteen (14) days of the draw. In the event that a winner does not provide a starting location and email address within 14 days of the draw, the prize will be forfeited by the winner. 
  1. If a prize is not claimed within fourteen (14 days), the prize will be awarded to the next best entry in the Competition. 
  1. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, social media handle, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome), promoting the 7BW and any other marketing purposes. 
  1. The Entrant must be the creator and the copyright owner of any images he or she enters into the Competition. 
  1. The Entrant retains copyright of his or her images. 
  1. The Entrant provides the Promoter with a limited licence to display, print and distribute the images for the purpose of the Competition and any other marketing purposes. 
  1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries, late, lost or misdirected emails and shall not be liable for any loss, including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with participation in this competition or accepting or utilising a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 
  1. Any entries that contain content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive, inappropriate or objectionable in any way or to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will not be accepted as eligible entries into the Competition. This includes, but is not limited to, any entry which the Promoter considers to be disparaging to its products and/or services or is otherwise not in keeping with the spirit of the Competition. 
  1. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this Competition and for other marketing purposes, including for direct marketing activity. By entering the Competition, unless otherwise advised, you also agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future Competitional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to you. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to other companies associated with this Competition, and to other members of Cancer Council Australia. If you do not provide your personal information, the Promoter will not be able to enter you into this Competition. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy (see https://www.cancercouncil.com.au/privacy/) contains information on how to access and correct your personal information, or to complain about a breach of your privacy. 
  1. Cancer Council shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions.
