Terms and Conditions - Last chance to win! 

Entry

  1. Instructions on how to enter the 7 Bridges Challenge 2020 Last Chance to Win Competition (the Competition) and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions. 
  2. The promoter of this Competition is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011 (the Promoter). 
  3. The Competition commences at 9.00am AEDT 23 October 2020 and finishes at midnight AEDT on 23 October 2020 (the Promotion Period). 
  4. Entry in this Competition is open to all Australian residents who are a Qualifying Participant or a Qualifying Donor. 
    • A Qualifying Participant is a registered participant in the 7 Bridges Challenge 2020 who, during the Promotion Period: 
      • makes a self-donation; or 
      • receives a donation to their personal online fundraising page. 
    • Qualifying Participants may be eligible for multiple entries and entries will be granted based on the below:  
      • 1 entry for a self-donation; and 
      • 1 entry per donation received on their personal online fundraising page 
    • A Qualifying Donor is an individual who makes a donation to a registered participant’s personal online fundraising page during the Promotion Period.  
    • Qualifying Donors will be eligible for multiple entries, entries will be granted based on the below:  
      • 1 entry per donation made during the Promotion Period.
  5. Entry is automatic and limited to one entry per person. 
  6. If you are under 18, you need your parent’s or guardian’s permission to enter. 
  7. Employees of the Promoter are not eligible to enter. 

Prize 

  1. The prize is 1 x Life’s an Adventure AUD$500 voucher towards a guided walking tour. Further booking terms & conditions can be found here: lifesanadventure.com.au/our-cancellation-policy/. 
  2. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize (including but not limited to additional travel outside the prize inclusions, spending money, meals, taxes, and personal, property and health insurance) are not included. The prize is not redeemable for cash. If the prize or an element of the prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu. 
  3. This is a game of chance with no separate fee payable for entry (a gratuitous lottery). The prize winner will be randomly drawn by the Promoter from the pool of Qualifying Participants and Qualifying Donors who meet the eligibility criteria set out above.
  4. The prize draw will be conducted at 11.00am AEDT on Monday 09 November 2020. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  5. The winner will be notified via email or phone from 11.00am AEDT on Tuesday 10 November 2020 and must confirm their contact details in order for the tour operator to contact them and arrange redemption of the prize. If the winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian. 
  6. If the prize is not claimed within 30 days of the draw, the prize will be forfeited by the winner. 
  7. If the prize is not claimed, a second draw will be held at 11.00am AEDT Wednesday 09 December 2020 to re-draw the prize. The winner of the redraw will be notified via email or phone and must confirm their contact details in order for the tour operator to contact them and arrange redemption of the prize. 
  8. The prize must be redeemed within 24 months of the draw date. 
  9. The prize is subject to availability and subject to periods when it may not be available for reasons including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, national health emergencies and changes in government policy. 
  10. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with participation in this Competition or accepting or utilising the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 
  11. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tampers with the entry process. 
  12. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, social media handle, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome), promoting the Event and any other marketing purposes. 
  13. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this Competition and for other marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Collection Statement. 
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
