Terms and Conditions - 7 Bridges Walk 2023 - Raise $28 in 28 hours

Entry

  1. Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the 7 Bridges Walk 2023 Raise $28 in 28 Hours competition (the Promotion) constitutes acceptance of these conditions. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time, in accordance with state regulations.
  2. The promoter of this Promotion is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011, (02) 9334 1900 (the Promoter).
  3. The Promoter will take reasonable steps to inform you of any changes to the conduct of the Promotion.
  4. The Promotion commences at 8.00am AEST Thursday 28 September 2023 and finishes at 12pm AEST Friday 29 September 2023 (the Promotion Period).
  5. This Promotion is open to Australian residents who:
    • are aged 18 or over OR are aged under 18 and have permission from a parent or guardian to enter;

    • are registered to participate in the 7 Bridges Walk 2023 (the Event); and

    • raise $28 or more in donations through their personal online fundraising page for the Event

during the Promotion Period (Qualifying Participants).

  1. There is no fee required to enter the Promotion.
  2. Entry is automatic and limited to one per person.
  3. Any persons involved in the management of the Promoter, and employees of the Promoter are not eligible to enter. Any person involved in the determination of prize winners is not eligible to enter.

Prize

  1. The Prize is 1 x ‘bespoke pop-up Picnic’ for up to six people to enjoy at the Event Village of their choice on Sunday 22 October 2023, including full picnic set up and styling with grazing style food and non-alcoholic beverages, for up to 2.5 hours duration (valued at AUD$880 (RRP), inclusive of GST).
  2. This is a game of chance. The Prize winner will be randomly drawn by the Promoter from the pool of Qualifying Participants at 11.00am AEDT Tuesday 3 October 2023 at the Promoter’s head office The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right to make changes, amend, cancel or reschedule the Prize if there are unforeseen circumstances (such as adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen difficulties) which make it unfeasible, in the Promoter’s opinion, to provide the Prize as scheduled.
  4. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize are not included. The Prize is not redeemable for cash. If a Prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable for unforeseeable or other special circumstances, then a comparable prize that is of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu.
  5. The winner will be notified personally via email or phone from 11.30am AEDT Tuesday 3 October 2023 and to claim the Prize, the winner must nominate their preferred Event Village for the picnic to be located on 22 October 2023, and their preferred time start time for the picnic.
  6. The winner will be publicly announced on 7 Bridges Walk Facebook and Instagram after Tuesday 3 October 2023
  7. If the Prize is not claimed within 2 days of being notified, a second draw will be held at 11:00am AEDT Thursday 5 October 2023 at the Promoter’s head office to re-draw the Prize. The winner of the redraw will be notified personally via email or phone and must comply with these terms as if they were the original winner.
  8. If, after the second draw, the Prize remains unclaimed, the same process will be repeated until the Prize is claimed.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Qualifying Participants (including identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any Qualifying Participants who submit an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tamper with the entry process.
  10. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this Promotion and for other marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Collection Statement.
  11. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Promotion.
