I've conquered for Cancer Council
What it means to me
My brother and I are walking in support of our mother who recently had her own battle with breast cancer.
Watching someone you love go through cancer is incredibly difficult, and while our mum has shown so much strength throughout her treatment, the road to recovery can be challenging both physically and emotionally. We want to show our support for her in every way we can.
We’re taking part in this walk to honour our mum and all the strength she has shown throughout her journey. We hope to raise awareness, show our love and support for those affected by breast cancer, and raise funds to help make a difficult time a little easier for others going through similar experiences.
