The friend who gives up her time to drive you to an appointment.
The neighbour who drops off a meal because they understand you're too exhausted to even think about what to cook, let alone actually cook.
The people who share their stories of how they navigated their own cancer journey.
The kindness and care softens the harsh reality of scans, tests, daily treatment. The kindness overwhelms the anxiety and fear.
I hope cancer never impacts you, I truly do. But sadly the statistics suggest it WILL impact someone in your network.

I’m walking for a cancer free future
I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 25 October 2026 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.
Every year in NSW alone, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.
