I've conquered for Cancer Council
I’m walking for a cancer free future
On Sunday 25 October 2026, I'll be taking on the 7 Bridges Walk, walking 28km around Sydney Harbour with my sister for the second year in a row to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW.
This year's walk is especially meaningful to me. Earlier this year, I had my own skin cancer scare and underwent a minor surgery to remove a skin cancer from my face. Thankfully it was caught early, but it was a sobering reminder that cancer affects more people than we realise and that early detection can make all the difference.
Every year in NSW, more than 56,000 people are diagnosed with cancer. The impact reaches far beyond the individual, affecting families, carers and entire communities.
