Walking for a Cause: My 7 Bridges Walk Journey

This year, I’m taking on the 7 Bridges Walk — not just as a challenge, but as a chance to make every step count for something bigger than myself.

Seven bridges. One incredible walk. And thousands of steps dedicated to raising awareness, supporting an important cause and bringing people together.

For me, this walk is about more than getting out there and getting my kilometres in. It’s about showing up, even when life feels difficult, and reminding myself that sometimes the smallest steps can lead to the biggest changes.

Life has thrown a few challenges my way recently, and I’ve realised how important connection, family, friendship and community really are. There have been times when I’ve felt exhausted, overwhelmed and unsure of what comes next. But getting outside, moving my body and surrounding myself with good people has reminded me that there is always a reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

And that’s exactly what I’m doing.

One step at a time. One bridge at a time.

I’m also hoping to turn this walk into an opportunity to give back. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps support the work behind the 7 Bridges Walk and the people and communities it aims to help.

If you’re able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing my fundraising page, sending some encouragement or simply cheering us on means just as much.

This isn’t about how fast I walk or how many kilometres I cover.

It’s about taking the journey.

It’s about community.

It’s about resilience.

And it’s about making every step count.

So, here’s to 7 bridges, countless steps and a whole lot of heart. ❤️

If you’d like to support my journey, please consider making a donation or sharing my fundraising page. Every little bit helps.

Thank you for walking alongside me — whether that’s literally or from wherever you are. 🥰

Let’s do this! 🚶‍♀️🌉❤️

I’m walking for a cancer free future

I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 25 October 2026 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.

Every year in NSW alone, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.

Please sponsor me and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!

So far this year I’ve helped provide:

22 kids with a SunSmart education

or

0 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20

or

1 hours of a research assistant's time to work on research we fund

Thank you to my Sponsors
