I've conquered for Cancer Council
I’m walking for a cancer free future
On Sunday 25 October 2026, I’ll be taking on the 7 Bridges Walk, joining thousands of people in walking 28km around Sydney Harbour to support those affected by cancer.
This walk is particularly meaningful to me this year. I’ll be walking for myself, having recently been diagnosed with a chondrosarcoma in my hand and undergoing surgical treatment, but most importantly, I’ll be walking for my Grandma, who is currently fighting breast cancer. Cancer has touched our family in a very personal way, and I know firsthand how deeply a diagnosis can impact not only the person going through it, but their family, friends and wider community.
Every year in NSW alone, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed. By taking part in the 7 Bridges Walk, I hope to help raise funds and awareness for Cancer Council NSW and support the incredible work they do for people affected by cancer.
I would be so grateful for any donation, big or small. Every step I take on the 28km will be for something very close to my heart: for my Grandma, for myself, and for everyone whose life has been touched by cancer. ❤️
