I've conquered for Cancer Council

How Cancer has affected my family

My Dad has cancer and it’s shit. I have watched my Dad who has always been active, 10 foot tall and bullet proof, deteriorate to the point that I dont recognise him and it completed breaks my heart. The last 2.5 years have taken a big toll on him physically and emotionally, he’s been through so much and I feel so helpless as a daughter who is also a nurse. The 7 bridges is my way of trying to make a difference and feel somewhat worthy.

I’m walking for a cancer free future

I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 26th October 2025 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.

Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.

Please sponsor me and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!

So far this year I’ve helped provide:

54 kids with a SunSmart education

or

2 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20

or

2 hours of a research assistant's time to work on research we fund

Thank you to my Sponsors
