My Journey
My Thyroid Cancer diagnosis started with an incidental finding of a thyroid nodule on my CT Scan to investigate my Chronic cough. My specialist recommended to investigate the thyroid Nodule which turned out to be cancer after further investigation- ultrasound, fine needle aspiration biopsy. It was a difficult time. But I was blessed to have wonderful support thru my GP, Surgeon, family, friends and colleagues who helped me with my journey. I am 5 years cancer free and thankful each day for another chance in life🙏.I’m walking for a cancer free future
I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 25 October 2026 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.
Every year in NSW alone, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.
