I’m walking for a cancer free future

On Sunday 25 October 2026, my brother and I will be taking on the 7 Bridges Walk - 28km around Sydney Harbour - for someone incredibly close to our hearts. ❤️

We’ll be walking in honour of our beautiful nephew, Mateo aged 4, who is a little superhero in the middle of his battle with leukaemia. His strength, courage and incredible spirit inspire us every single day.

We’ll also be walking in memory of our dad, who we sadly lost to cancer. Having experienced the impact of cancer both as a family who has lost someone we love and now as a family fighting alongside someone we love, this cause is incredibly personal to us.

Every year in NSW alone, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed, and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.
