I've conquered for Cancer Council
I’m walking for a cancer free future
If you were wondering if there was a way to see a comically unfit person walk an uncomfortable distance with minimal preparation and/or skill, boy do I have some exciting news. I’m walking 28km to raise money for Cancer Council and, if last year is anything to go by, I’ll have unfounded confidence in my own fitness and will cry multiple times along the way as it dawns on me how much more I needed to have trained.
I’ll be walking in memory of my parents and thinking of other friends or family members who have been impacted by cancer, but I’d love to include other people in my thoughts, so if you are comfortable please reach out and I’ll make sure to honour them by way of moderate and self-inflicted torture on the day.
Cancer is fucked - how bloody cool would it be if it wasn’t!
So far this year I’ve helped provide:
