Why I Walk
Every year, I take part in the 7 Bridges Walk in honour of my best friend who lost her battle with cancer. What started as a personal way to remember her has become something I do with purpose and pride to keep her memory alive and to help others still fighting.
Cancer affects so many lives, not just those diagnosed, but their families, friends, and entire communities. Every step I take is for someone who’s been through the fear, the pain, and the hope that comes with this disease.
Cancer research is what gives people more time, more options, and more hope. It’s how we move closer to earlier detection, better treatments, and one day, a cure. Every donation, big or small, helps fund that progress.
So I walk for Aiyana, for those still fighting, and for a future where fewer families have to say goodbye too soon.

We’re taking on the 7 Bridges Walk this Sunday, 26th October 2025 — 28km around Sydney Harbour, in honour of my beautiful best friend who lost her battle with cancer.
Every year, more than 53,000 people in NSW are diagnosed with cancer. Behind each number is a story, families, friends and communities whose lives are changed forever. I walk every year to remember my friend, to honour her strength, and to help those still fighting.
