I've conquered for Cancer Council

I’m walking for a cancer free future

We're back again for another year of 7 Bridges Fundraising! In honour of September being blood cancer awareness month, I'm fundraising for the 28km 7 Bridges walk in October for Cancer Council Australia. 


Whilst I'm out of the chemo chair this time around, it wasn't all that long ago that I was a cancer patient like thousands of other young Australians. The research and campaign awareness that Cancer Council does, provides pivotal funding to create a world where the word cancer has no power. As a survivor who underwent trial chemo drugs, continued research is important to bring new drugs on to the PBS scheme to make it readily available to all patients and this research can only happen with lots of time and money (one of which you can help with right now!)

So far this year I’ve helped provide:

225 kids with a SunSmart education

or

8 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20

or

11 hours of a research assistant's time to work on research we fund
