I've conquered for Cancer Council

Walking for Sylvia this Sunday

This Sunday Mel and I will take on the 28kms 7 Bridges walk. 

The last few weeks have been a very difficult period for our family, especially Mel. We have had to watch her beloved mother, my great mother in law and Grandma to our boys, Sylvia struggle and ultimately pass away after her courageous battle with cancer. 

This Friday we say farewell to Sylvia at her memorial service and then on Sunday we will walk in her honour…

We are walking for a cancer free future

Too many of our loved ones have been and are affected by this terrible illness so Mel and I are taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 26th October 2025 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour. 

Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant. 

Please sponsor us and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!

10 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20

13 hours of a research assistant's time to work on research we fund
