I've conquered for Cancer Council

7 Bridges and the importance of supporting The Cancer Council

This will be my fourth year participating in the 7 Bridges walk for Cancer.
One of the reasons I do this walk is for my husband Pete, he passed away almost three years ago now after a courageous seven year battle.
This year I am dedicating my walk to both Peter and Karrine.
Karrine is the 35 year old daughter of a very close friend, Karrine has very recently been diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer.
I hope,  in some small way, that I am making a difference for anyone going through the unwanted cancer journey.

I’m walking for a cancer free future

I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 26th October 2025 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.

Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.

Please sponsor me and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!

So far this year I’ve helped provide:

278 kids with a SunSmart education

or

10 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20

or

13 hours of a research assistant's time to work on research we fund

Thank you to my Sponsors
