I've conquered for Cancer Council
I’m walking for a cancer free future
On Sunday 25 October 2026, I’ll be taking on the 7 Bridges Walk with my mum for our 9th year.
Back in 2018, when I was just 7 years old and Mum was going through life-saving radiation treatment after being diagnosed with breast cancer, I asked her if we could do the 7 Bridges Walk. Even though I was only 7, Mum never doubted that I could walk the 28km although neither of us could have imagined then that we would go on to do the walk year after year.
Since that first walk, I’ve raised more than $60,000 for Cancer Council NSW. This year, I’ll once again be joining the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour and raise money to support people affected by cancer.
Every year in NSW, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed, affecting not only those with cancer but their families, carers and communities too.
My mum and our family received support from Cancer Council when we needed it most. Please sponsor me and help Cancer Council NSW continue to support people and families affected by cancer and work towards a cancer-free future.
