I’m walking for a cancer free future

Wow, how quickly has another year come around!

First of all thank you to all my supporters each year, I may not always get around to thanking everyone, but know I really appreciate it, every single year, every step and every cent <3>

Now to be honest once I figured out the date the walk would fall on this year I did think about giving it a miss, however upon reflection not walking would go against why I walk every year. I mean its not the first time and I'm not the only one that has lost family or friends or know of people suffering or recovering from cancer. 

Whilst I don't know how I will feel on the day, I do know the good the funds raised will be used for: funding life saving research, creating programs for prevention and early intervention, support programs for those impacted by cancer and advocating on the behalf of those impacted by cancer

So once again, if you have any free change ($2 and above is tax deductible) how about donating it to cancer council? I know my self and many others, including the council will appreciate every cent in taking another step to stopping cancer.

Okies off to get the sneakers out and the kms up, gotta train up them muscles - each year I learn I really shouldn't be rushing myself!
