I've conquered for Cancer Council

Day 1. I forgot to fundraise

So I completely forgot that I was supposed to be raising money so I'm now going to embarrass myself and bombard my socials.

We are truly stepping out of the comfort zone this week. 

Day 0. I bought fancy shoes.

So I googled 'best walking shoes 2025' and AI told me it was the Hoka Clifton 10s. 

So I bought those and I'm hoping they'll just move my feet and this won't hurt at all. 

I’m walking for a cancer free future

I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 26th October 2025 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour. 

This is massive because I am not a walker and 28km is huge. But I'm doing it for dad, who passed 3 years ago after a long battle with cancer. 

Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant. 

Dad wasn't a huge walker either but Mum is and together we're going to smash this walk even if she has to drag me the last 5kms!
