The greatest walk of all

Cancer Council's 7 Bridges Walk will be held on Sunday 26 October 2025. Each year thousands walking 28km through splendid Sydney harbour, across 7 bridges, to raise funds for a cancer free future.

2025 marks the 20th year of 7 Bridges Walk. Through the years, almost 140,000 participants have taken part raising an impressive $12.6 million for cancer research and support services.

Cancer Council NSW

7 Bridges Walk is a fundraiser for Cancer Council NSW. The money raised enables us to fund life saving cancer research, prevention programs, advocacy and support services for people impacted by cancer. 


7 Bridges Walk was first launched by The Pedestrian Council of Australia in 2006, with Cancer Council NSW as the sole charity partner from 2010-2021. Since the event began, over $12.6m has been raised to fund world-class cancer research and vital support services.
