Fill in the volunteer application form below and our team will get back to you. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Cancer Council NSW for 7 Bridges Walk 2025.

Cancer Council’s 7 Bridges Walk is back on Sunday 26 October 2025 to celebrate its 20th year!

7 Bridges Walk is an event that sees thousands walk 28km (and over 7 bridges!) to raise funds and tackle cancer. The route takes walkers over Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, Anzac Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tarban Creek Bridge and Fig Tree Bridge with 6 pop-up villages (Milsons Point, Pyrmont, Rozelle, Hunters Hill, Lane Cove, and Wollstonecraft) full of activities for participants to enjoy and rest along the way.

By volunteering your time, you can contribute directly to an event that is raising money for cancer research, prevention and vital support services to the almost 1 in 2 Australians affected by cancer by the age of 85.

With over 13,000 participants expected to walk, 6 villages to manage and 7 bridges to cross, there are a variety of volunteer roles available.

Role descriptions:

  • Village Ticket Scanner - A high energy and outgoing role, scanning each participant at your village, handing out Event Guides and sending walkers on their way with a smile.
  • Cancer Council Information Tent - Manage on-the-day ticket and merchandise sales at one of the 6 villages, answer questions and provide information.
