I’m walking in support of cancer awareness and research!

I’m taking on the 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 26 October 2025, joining the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.

Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed.

As a fair-skinned woman, I’m at high risk of developing skin cancer in the future. Both my mum and dad have had multiple skin cancers over the years.

Earlier this year, my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thankfully, because of awareness, he recognised the signs early and was able to get treatment before it progressed too far.

Fourteen years ago, I had a tumour discovered in my optical cavity. Luckily, it turned out to be benign — but I’ve had a titanium plate in my head ever since, and I’m grateful that’s all it left me with.
