I've conquered 28km for Cancer Council
I’m walking for a cancer free future
I’m taking on the 7 Bridges 28km walk in a different way this year. The organisers have offered many alternatives to keep fund raising as for the first time in 15years, the 7 Bridges must be altered thanks to stupid Covid.
This year is in memory to Jan Nolan, who ALWAYS sponsored me with my fundraising efforts to fight another stupid thing called Cancer.
This year I'll be walking from my place, over Tom Ugly Bridge, take the scenic route to Sans Souci, and continue home over Captain Cook Bridge.
Every year in NSW alone, more than 46,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.
