I've conquered for Cancer Council
This year is for the highly respected and missed Danny Dooley
I really thought last year was going to be my last year walking these 28km 7 Bridges.
That was in memory of Sean Gleeson, one of Danny Dooley's friends. I'd say to both of them, " it's not a competition to see who can have the most cancers" 🤦
I just feel I need to do one more 7 Bridges 28km walk raising dollars for Cancer Reserach, in memory of Mr Dooley.
He cared so much about everyone else, this one is for him as a thanks for being the person he was.
Such a gentleman, kind, caring person. Danny was the heartbeat of organisng a lot of Qantas get togethers with both Ramp and Customer Service staff alike.
Danny was the spokesperson at many funerals we've attended over the years of Ramp staff. He was the 'go to ' man to keep everyone updated even when he'd left Qantas.
I know he is truly missed by many.
I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 26th October 2025 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.
Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.
Please sponsor me and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!
