I've conquered for Cancer Council

I’m walking for a cancer free future

This year, Jenny and I are pulling on the walking shoes and taking on the 7 Bridges Walk, and we'd love you to get behind us. For both of us, this is much more than just a Sunday stroll. Jen works as an Occupational Therapist in oncology, so every day she sees the strength, courage and determination of people living with cancer. She also sees just how important research and support services are for patients and their families.
For me, it's personal too. Having having great support and medical treatment during my own stint with cancer, I know how fortunate I am. Walking the 28 kilometres is a small way of giving something back and helping those who are still on that journey.
If you can spare a bob or two, we'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps fund life changing cancer research and support services.
Better still, dust off your walking shoes and join us! It will be a great day out, a chance to catch up, enjoy a few laughs, and if my knees are still talking to me by Bridge Number 7, I'll shout you a coffee at the finish!
