We’re walking for a cancer free future
26th Oct 2025 = The day of the 7 Bridges event…
26th Oct 2020 = The day I was diagnosed!
In the 5 years since diagnosis, a lot has changed and moved on with ground-breaking research and revolutionary findings to better detect, treat and live beyond cancer.
Attending this year’s Annual Breast Cancer Public Lecture and learning of the latest discoveries and innovations, I was really impressed with where funding is being allocated and utilised. It became apparent that the Cancer Council plays a huge role in funding and support so we have decided to walk the (28km) 7 Bridges and raise ever more important funds to ensure this can continue in the hope that if, God forbid, any of us are diagnosed with late stage cancer, there will already be a cure in place preventing it from being be a death sentence.
As usual, I refuse to supply you with a sob story (other than milking it a bit with our team name and photo 🤣) but rather the facts, that give you the confidence to donate knowing your money is going to a great cause.
