I've conquered for Cancer Council
Why I am walking the 7 Bridges Walk for Cancer
As many of my family and friends know, I lost my husband Tony to Colon Cancer in May 2024 after only 8 months from diagnosis. He was 50 when diagnosed and 51 when he passed away.He was not only my husband but he was a father, father-in-law, poppy, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, nephew, and a mate to many.
He was a character, he would laugh and joke with all who knew him.
We had so many great years together.
I am doing this walk to raise any monies to help fight Cancer of any kind.
I’m walking for a cancer free future
I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 25 October 2026 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.
Every year in NSW alone, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.
Please sponsor me and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!
