I'm walking for a cancer free future

I'm training for the 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 25 October 2026, which will be a 28km journey on foot around Sydney Harbour.
Please consider showing your support for cancer patients and cancer prevention research with a donation to Cancer Council here on my fundraising page (donations are tax-deductible).
I started training in July and as of the 4th of September, I've covered 80km in long-walk training. I've got 118km of training to go before the big day.
My motivation is my mum, who passed away from breast cancer in 2024, but I'm also walking for everyone who suffers when cancer strikes, and those who would love to do this walk but can't. Each year in NSW more than 56,000 new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed.
Thank you for your support and shoutout Liz Sutton (pictured) for putting me onto this event!
I'll be wearing bright yellow on the day and will post updates on my social media.
So far this year we've helped provide:
40 kids with a SunSmart education
1 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20
2 hours of a research assistant's time to work on research we fund
