I've conquered for Cancer Council
My Story
Last May, at just 20 years old, my life changed in an instant when I was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. It was something I never imagined I would face at such a young age.
Since my diagnosis, I've endured months of intensive weekly chemotherapy, countless hospital visits, and challenges that have tested me both physically and mentally. Cancer has changed my life in many ways, but it has also shown me the importance of resilience, hope, and the incredible support of those around me.
Today, I'm incredibly grateful to be in remission, although my treatment journey isn't over yet. I'm still undergoing chemotherapy and continue to take each day as it comes, knowing there are still hurdles ahead.
That's why I've decided to take on the Seven Bridge Walk in Sydney. Every step I take is for everyone affected by cancer—for those still fighting, those we've lost, and the families and friends who stand beside them through it all.
I'm walking to raise awareness and funds for cancer research because research gives people like me hope. The treatments that have helped me reach remission exist because of the dedication of researchers, healthcare professionals, and the generosity of those who support cancer charities. By donating, you're helping fund the next breakthrough and giving future patients a better chance.
If you're able to support my fundraiser, no matter the amount, I would be so grateful. Thank you for helping me turn one of the hardest chapters of my life into an opportunity to make a difference for others.
I’m walking for a cancer free future
I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 25 October 2026 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.
Every year in NSW alone, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.
Please sponsor me and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!
