I've conquered for Cancer Council

Walking for a future Cure…

On 7 August 2025 I lost my father to Stage 4 Lung Cancer, he was initially admitted to hospital ED for plural effusion in June, after his chest drainage a mass was sighted, the mass grew rapidly that had mastitis to his brain, chest and spine, it was so aggressive we had no opportunity to trial any therapy for the cancer. I was in hospital everyday and night to hold onto every moment I could, to witness the pain and suffering that my father had to go through was heartbreaking, every moment I witnessed his pain I prayed to “Jesus” if I could help relieve some of his pain for him, to please stop the pain and suffering…I know he is in a better place now, no more pain, no more suffering, but the memory is vivid in me. I do not wish this upon anyone, no one, not even my worst enemy…. I pray one day a cure could be found to give hope to many other families….. May God Bless You All!❤️

I’m walking for a cancer free future

I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 25 October 2026 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.

Every year in NSW alone, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.

Please sponsor me and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!

So far this year I’ve helped provide:

244 kids with a SunSmart education

or

9 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20

or

12 hours of a research assistant's time to work on research we fund
