Inshallah I’ll be doing this walk for the Palestinians affected by the ongoing genocide, my grandparents Amina Chahrouk, Ahmed Chahrouk and Abdul Razzak Obeid who passed away from cancer. Allah yerhamon ya rub and have mercy on their souls💕🩵

Palestinians deserve cancer care!

Palestinian cancer patients are experiencing a catastrophic collapse of care, particularly in Gaza, where cancer-related deaths have tripled since the conflict began. The destruction of medical facilities and severe blockades on medical evacuations and essential treatments have turned formerly treatable conditions into death sentences.
Essential services—including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and diagnostic imaging—are virtually nonexistent in Gaza. Local health organizations report that thousands of patients are deprived of specialized care, leading to multiple daily fatalities in the territory's remaining makeshift clinics.

I’m walking for a cancer free future

I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 25 October 2026 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour. 

Every year in NSW alone, more than 56,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant. 

Please sponsor me and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!
