I've conquered for Cancer Council
Left it a little late but….
With it being only 11 days out I thought I’d better get a bit of training in before the big event.Yesterday I did 1.5km in the pool and I just finished a 20min cardio workout at home.
I’m looking forward to the walk. It’s bloody hard but it’s nothing compared to the pain that Mark and Dad went through when on their final weeks of cancer :(
I’m walking for a cancer free future
I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 22 October 2023 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour.
Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.
