I've conquered 28km for Cancer Council
I’m walking for a cancer free future
This year the walk takes on a new format. A team of those blessed to live in the Utopia that is Arcadia, are walking the 7 Fridges.
Traversing paddocks, smelling the roses in gardens, paddling in dams, marvelling at the ducks and ducklings, chewing the cud with the cows, sharing carrots with the horses, the Proudly Arcadian Team will travel the distance with stops at 7 Fridges along the way.
This year due to the restrictions and lockdowns, Cancer Australia reports substantial reductions in medical services and procedures relating to cancer investigations and treatment. The Lancet reported that in the UK they expect an increase in avoidable cancer deaths as a consequence of COVID-19.
