I've conquered for Cancer Council
Going around the Harbour again for the Cancer Council
It’s that time of year again, although I am a little more organised than usual ;)
Many of you will know that I started doing this many years ago after my wife, Venessa, was diagnosed with breast cancer - the good news is that, with thanks to our amazing medical system, doctors, nurses etc, she has been "cancer free" for over 19 years now. This is only possible due to ongoing research breakthroughs, new treatments, and people being more aware and catching cancers earlier when the outcomes are so much better.
Any and all support is greatly appreciated, and obviously goes to many good causes under the Cancer Council umbrella of educating, preventing, supporting and curing cancer.
So far this year I’ve helped provide:
358 kids with a SunSmart education
or
245 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20
or
74 days of a PHD student’s world-class research
