Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event which attracted over 6,000
participants, the Medibank Private Seven Bridges Walk is on again. In 2007, there are over
10,000 participants expected to take part in this FREE community event.

The course is a 25km circular loop around Sydney Harbour, crossing seven of Sydney’s Bridges
and taking in some of the most spectacular scenery and Harbour views that Sydney has to offer!

The course is open from 8am – 5pm on Sunday 28th October, 2007. There will be free shuttle
buses available for event participants on the day that circulate around the 25km route.

The walk is for everyone, all ages and fitness levels. It is not a race, and there is no set length of
the course you have to complete. Walking is the most natural, sustainable and adaptable form of
exercise that suits every lifestyle – Whoever you are, however old you are, however fit you are –
You can all participate in this event, and help raise money for charity.

Participants can register for the event online, where they can also donate to the four charities who
are involved with the event – beyondblue: the national depression initiative, The Cancer
Council NSW, Diabetes Australia – NSW and The Heart Foundation.

Donations can also be made at each of the seven villages located around the course on event
day. All donations will be split evenly amongst the four charities after all fundraising is complete.

So why not spend the day conquering Seven Bridges of Sydney with family and friends and go
into the draw to win some great prizes, as well as supporting several great causes.
