Walk the seven iconic bridges THIS October it's time to put on your walking shoes, gather your family and friends and get active raising money for a worthwhile cause. Registrations have now opened for the annual Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk to be held on Sunday, October 30. More than 16,000 participants are expected to take part in the 27knri course crossing Sydney's seven iconic budges, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, ANZAC Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tariaan Creek Bridge and Fig Tree Bridge. Harold Scruby from the Pedestrian Council of Australia said the annual event, which started in 2C06, yeas for young and old alike, "Walking is the best way to stay healthy and experience the spectacular views of Sydney Harbour on foot," Mr Scruby said.
