WALK THE SEVEN BRIDGES A DAY TO CROSS SYDNEY'S ICONS TO FIGHT CANCER THOUSANDS of people will walk 27km across seven Sydney bridges this weekend to raise money for the NSW Cancer Council. Participants can walk all, or a portion of the 27km course that winds a scenic route through Sydney. It will cross Sydney's seven most famous bridges, including the Sydney Harbour, Pyrmont, Anzac, Iron Cove, Gladesville, Tarban Creek and Fig Tree bridges. Walkers can start at any of the bridges and donate or create a fundraising page to help raise money for cancer research, prevention and Fig Tree Bridge Iron Cove Bridge Gialesville Bridge] 1141 m support services. One in two Australians will experience cancer by the age of 85 but 30 per cent of all cancers can be prevented by eating a healthy diet and doing regular exercise, including walking.
