Walk tall for a great cause THOUSANDS of people this weekend will join the annual trek around Sydney Harbour in the Cancer Council Seven Bridges Walk. Participants can walk all, or a portion of the 27km clockwise course, which crosses the seven iconic bridges of the harbour. Participants are encouraged to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW. One in two Australians will experience cancer by the age of 85. But 30 per cent of all cancers can be prevented by a healthy diet and regular exercise including walking. Participants can create a fundraising page or make a donation that will go towards Cancer Council's vital cancer research, prevention, information and support services. The walk is on Sunday from 7.30am to 4.30pm. It takes in the Sydney Harbour, Pyrmont, ANZAC, Iron Cove, Gladesville, Tarban Creek and Fig Tree bridges. Cost is $15. Details: 7bridgeswalk.com.au
