THE gloves are going to come off when boxing beauty Lauryn Eagle joins the fight against cancer and undertakes the annual Seven Bridges Walk this month. The one-time beauty pageant starlet said she was looking forward to walking the entire 27km course on October 30 to help raise awareness about the benefits of exercise. And while the former ski champion has spent more time zipping under bridges than going over them, the 23-year-old said she had been inspired to take part in the annual NSW Cancer Council event. "I think everyone has been touched by cancer in some way, if not directly than indirectly through friends, family, and friends of family," Eagle, 23, said. "I found out that 30 per cent of all cancers can be prevented through involvement in physical activity so I think this is a great way to promote that."
