Bridge walk on again IT'S TIME to put on your walking shoes, gather your family and friends and get active raising money for a worthwhile cause. Registrations have now opened for the annual Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk to be held on Sunday, October 30. More than 15,000 people are expected to walk the 27km course over Sydney's seven iconic bridges, the Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, ANZAC Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tarban Creek and Fig Tree Bridge. Harold Scruby from the Pedestrian Council of Australia said the event, which started in 2006, was for young and old alike. "Walking is the best way to stay healthy and experience the spectacular views of the harbour on foot,- he said. Supporting partners are The Sunday Telegraph, 7 News Sydney, Asics, QBE and the NSW Government. To register visit www. 7bridgeswalk.com.au
