Time to take
right steps to
good health
OCTOBER is the perfect time of
year to slip on those walking shoes
for a good cause.
Registrations are open for the
fourth annual Cancer Council
NSW Seven Bridges Walk which is
to be held on Sunday, October 31.
The event is set to attract up to
20,000 enthusiasts who can walk
all or just a portion of the 25km
course that crosses Sydney Harbour's
seven iconic bridges; the
Sydney Harbour, Pyrmont,
ANZAC, Iron Cove, Gladesville,
Tarban Creek and Fig Tree
bridges.
Walkers can start and finish at
any of the bridges.
Free special event buses and
ferries to return people to their
starting points are available. The
event is from 8am to 5pm.
This year, Cancer Council NSW
is a naming partner. Funds raised
from donations and the $10 adult
registration fee will go towards
cancer research, and support services.
Other supporting partners include
Telstra, Asics, QBE, the
