Ports and crossers THERE are no excuses the weather's warming up and it's time to strut your stuff and stretch your legs. Registrations are now open for the fourth annual Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk on Sunday, October 31. Up to 20,000 enthusiastic walkers are expected to get active for a good cause and walk all, or a portion, of the 25km course covering seven of Sydney's most popular bridges: the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, Anzac Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tarban Creek Bridge and Fig Tree Bridge. If the thought of walking the full 25km course leaves you feeling hot and bothered, you can start and finish at any of the bridges, then hop onto one of the free special event buses and ferries that will return you to your starting point. Jason Francis and Ingrid HeIff are experienced bridge walkers.
