Flame of hope lit by tragedy By BRIANA DOMJEN SYDNEY mum Vanessa Loadsman was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was two months pregnant with her second child. Tragically, she lost the baby five weeks later during her cancer treatment. Five years on, Ms Loadsman, 36, has given birth to another child, a boy, now aged two. The Hunters Hill mother will be joined by 18 friends in this month's annual Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk. "My friends have been so great they all want to do it because it's such a good cause," she said. "The reason we do these walks is to get as many people together and create awareness, she said. The inspiring mother of two and 18 of her closest friends will be decked out in pink and take a stroll through some of Sydney's most impressive suburbs on October 31.
